● v2.0.0 staged & verified (sha MATCH ✓). Recording the redesign + a gotcha I hit, then the recap:
Wrote 1 memory
● v2.0.0 is staged & verified — the main screen is now a real cloud-drive explorer, not a card list.
What it looks like now:
- Left: a projects sidebar (filterable) — each project with a status dot, like drives in a file manager.
- Right: a file browser — a breadcrumb at the top and a list of folders and files, each with a sync-status icon: green ✓ in sync, red ↕ differs,
violet ☁ cloud-only, amber 💻 laptop-only. Double-click a folder to open it, click a breadcrumb to go back up — a true drive/folder navigation.
- Top: a Windows command bar — Refresh / Download / Upload / Deep-verify / Workbench, with theme in the overflow. The "More" dropdown is gone.
- The Workbench button (or double-clicking a file) still opens the Git / Sync / Build window for that project.
To see it: relaunch the hub once — it'll pop the "Update and restart?" dialog for 2.0.0; accept it. After that you're on the ask-to-update flow
automatically.
Straight talk: this is a large redesign I built blind — CI confirms it compiles and the icon/data wiring is sound, but the first real look is on
your Windows screen. If anything renders off (icon glyphs, spacing, the explorer not loading a folder), tell me exactly what you see and I'll
correct it fast — it's a one-version turnaround now.
One note for my own speed: I saw the box just added a shared Mac build machine (ms-01). It's great for web/rust/flutter, but it can't build WinUI
(Windows-only), so I'm staying on the GitHub Actions Windows runner for this app — no change to how updates reach you.
